Georgetown: Daniel "Webster" Mills, 91, died Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at his residence. Mr. Mills was born in Charleston on March 31, 1920, a son of the late John Naisbie Mills and Edith Player Mills. He served in the US Army during World War II. Mr. Mills was the former owner and operator of Mills Heating and Air and retired from Levon Miller Heating and Air. He was a member of the Independent Nazarene Church. Surviving are: his wife, Ethel Mary Brown Joy Lowe of Georgetown; three daughters, Linda J. Lambert (Douglas) of Andrews, and Ethel Mae Vause (Dody) and Judith Lynn Taylor (Matt Parson), both of Georgetown; a son, Daniel Webster Mills, Jr. (Brenda) of Georgetown; two step-sons, Henry J. Joy (Lois) of Myrtle Beach and Larry G. Joy (Barbara) of Georgetown; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at two o'clock on Thursday afternoon, December 1, 2011, at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be the Rev. Paul Lambert.
