Pawley's Island: Danny Andrew Culbertson, 56, died Thursday, February 10, 2005, at his residence. Mr. Culbertson was born in Greenville on July 16, 1948, a son of Carl Goodman Culbertson and Mary Aletha Poole Culbertson. He grew up in Greenville and graduated from Parker High School. Mr. Culbertson served in the Marines in Vietnam. Mr. Culbertson moved to Pawley's Island in 1984, where he was a self employed yacht captain. Surviving in addition to his parents of Greenville are: his wife, Brenda Belk Brewer of Pawley's Island; two daughters, Angie Hackett and her husband Chuck of Murrells Inlet and Kimberly Hood of Conway; a brother, Carroll Culbertson of Greenville; five grandchildren; eight aunts; and four uncles; a niece and a nephew. Funeral services will be four o'clock Saturday afternoon, February 12, 2005 at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from two until four prior to the service. The family will also receive friends at The Wood Mortuary in Greer on Sunday evening, February 13, 2003, from five until seven. Graveside services will be two o'clock Monday afternoon, February 14, 2005, at Graceland West Cemetery in Greenville.
