Georgetown:
David McCutchen, 60, died Friday, June 23, 2006, at Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet.
Mr. McCutchen was born in Nottingham, England on October 7, 1945, a son of the late Willie David McCutchen and Ethel Hooley McCutchen. He lived most of his life in Georgetown and was a graduate of Winyah High School and United Electronics Institute. Mr. McCutchen was an electrician with International Paper Co.
Mr. McCutchen was a member and Deacon of First Baptist Church. He also served his church as a Church Moderator and member of the Building and Property Committees. He was a former chairman and current member of the Board of Directors of Georgetown Craft Credit Union. Mr. McCutchen was also a member of the South Strand Shag Club.
Surviving are: his wife, Anne Figgins McCutchen of Georgetown; a son, Scott McCutchen of Myrtle Beach; a daughter, Kathy Plowden of Columbia; two brothers, Jesse McCutchen and Bobby McCutchen, both of Pawleys Island; two sisters, Gail Martin of Georgetown and Shirley Moore of Cincinnati, Ohio; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be three o'clock Monday afternoon, June 26, 2006, at First Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Ted A. Sherrill. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home from seven until nine Sunday evening, June 25, 2006.
