Andrews: Denise A. Barrineau Wheeler, 52, died Friday, March 6, 2009, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Wheeler was born in Georgetown on December 17, 1956, a daughter of the late Benjamin "Bozie" Barrineau and Margaret Ann Owens Barrineau. She grew up in Andrews and graduated from Andrews Academy. Mrs. Wheeler was a former receptionist at Joseph & Joseph dental office in Georgetown. She was the widow of Milton Wheeler. Surviving are: a son, Jon Quincy Wheeler of Andrews; two daughters, Tonya (Craig) Casselman of Georgetown and Chelsea Cribb of the U.S. Navy in Japan; a brother, Frankie B. Barrineau of Andrews; a sister, Cheryl Lynn "Sweetpea" Barrineau of Denver, N. C.; two aunts, Betty Owens of N. Myrtle Beach and Nancy Alger of Hanahan; special friends, Georgia and Roger Vinson of Georgetown, and Nita Cook, Tabby Collins, and Ann Howell, all of Andrews; and two grandchildren. Memorial services will be two o'clock Wednesday afternoon, March 11, 2009, at the Andrews Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Marie Shelton.
