Georgetown: Dianne Rose Buzash Johnson, wife of Jeffery Allen Johnson, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 3, 2018, at Embrace Hospice House in Myrtle Beach. She was the daughter of Marion Dorothy Rodney Buzash, and the late George Frank Buzash who died in 2003. Dianne was born on July 3, 1958 in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, where she lived for twenty three years. On a Myrtle Beach vacation, a local shrimper brought her to Georgetown for a small town life she learned to treasure. Dianne absolutely loved Georgetown and its people and all the water and warm weather. A boat, a book, and a private Santee Beach was heaven to her. Dianne enjoyed her house that was always full of kids for Sunday Cowboys football even when they lost. Dianne will be best remembered for her kind spirit, her beauty, and unbreakable patience. Dianne was a very loving wife and mother to her family, but also to her five Golden Retrievers she cherished: Jesse, Dallas, Chelsey, Cowboy and the most recent Johnny Cash. Dianne is survived by her loving husband Jeff of thirty six years, a son, Jeffery Allen Johnson, II (Kristin) of Griffin, GA, and her mother, Marion Rodney Buzash of Hamilton, Ontario. Dianne's family would like to thank the wealth of friends who carried us through her courageous battle. It was truly appreciated. Services will be held two o'clock, Saturday, August 11, 2018, at the Georgetown Church of God. A reception will follow at Saint Mary's Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church on Broad Street.
