Mr. Donald Lee Jacks passed away of natural causes in Georgetown Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, February 23, 2010.
Mr. Jacks was born in Calera, Ala. on January 6, 1937. He was the only child of the late Alma Dean Lee and Malcolm Wesley Jacks. Don attended Alabama Teachers College and received his masters in chemistry from The University of Calif., Berkeley. He was employed by the State of Alabama EPA, by Masonite Corporation in North Carolina, and most recently by Elf Atochem North America. He worked primarily out of the company's Philadelphia office, traveling all over the world helping install chemical coatings systems in glass and ceramic factories.
He is survived by two sons, Samuel Paul Jacks of Greensboro, N.C. and Lucas Wesley Jacks of Carrboro, N.C.
