Donald Paul Williamson, 87, of Murrells Inlet, SC, passed away on September 9, 2025, at NHC Healthcare Garden City.
Born May 8, 1938, in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late Arthur Webster Williamson and Evelyn Isabel Hay Williamson.
Donald was a devoted member of All Saints Pawleys Church faithfully living out the responsibility described in Acts 2:42: "And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers." His faith guided every aspect of his life, from teaching adult Sunday School to serving in the phone ministry.
Professionally, Donald built a successful career in Sales and Brand Manager of Scott Towels before transitioning to Direct Marketing with National Liberty Corporation, where he worked until his retirement in 1995.
He proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army Reserves. Donald's passion was the Holy Scriptures, which he faithfully read and taught. When he moved to SC he shared God's truth at Street Reach Mission in Myrtle Beach, where he influenced many lives. He also shared his love for sports as an ice hockey coach for young people, He is a Lifetime Member of Wachesaw Planation Club, where he played golf with the Lagan Group.
Donald's life was marked by faith, service, and compassion. Whether through ministry, work, or community involvement, he left behind a legacy of devotion and kindness.
Donald is survived by his wife, Carole Williamson, two children; Jeffrey Williamson (Audrey) and Julie Smalls (Michael), three grandchildren; Jeffrey Smalls(Andrea), Zachary Smalls(Sara), Connor Smalls, three great grandchildren; Sebastian Smalls, Shepherd Smalls and Uriah Smalls, and a brother in law, Lon Compton and sister in law, Linda Williamson.
