Georgetown Donna Jean Raubar Brown, 70, died Sunday, October 19, 2014, at the Medical University of S. C. Medical Center in Charleston. Mrs. Brown was born in Wyandotte, Mich. on June 30, 1944, a daughter of the late Donald Orville Raubar and Mildred L. Herault Raubar. She grew up in Wyandotte and Gyosse Ile, Mich., and graduated from high school and attended college in Mich. Mrs. Brown was owner and operator of Earthly Treasures at Pawley's Island and was very proud of her nickname, "Jean, Jean, the dancing machine". Surviving are: her husband, Alan Gault Brown III of Georgetown; three brothers, John William Raubar, III of Hawaii, Joseph Allen Raubar of Amherst, N. J., and Donald Orville Raubar, Jr. of Matthews, N. C.; and two sisters, Kathryn Ann Zwart of New Braufels, Tex. and Marjorie Sue Coleman of Grosse Isle, Mich.
