Georgetown:
Donna Freeman Thompson, 53, died Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at her residence.
Mrs. Thompson was born in Georgetown on April 18, 1956, a daughter of the late Robert Freeman, Jr. and Juanita Alford Freeman. She lived most of her life in Georgetown and attended First Baptist Church. Mrs. Freeman was a former office manager at Plantation Shutter Company.
Mrs. Thompson was predeceased by: a daughter, Katina Lambert; and a son, William P. "Billy" Lambert.
Surviving are: her husband, Edward D. Thompson of Georgetown; a step-son, Edward D. Thompson, II of Georgetown; a step-daughter, Bonnie T. Woodruff (Mark) of Summerville; two sisters, Brenda F. Savage (Bill) of Stockbridge, Ga. and Patricia A. Butts of Hanover, Va.; two granddaughters, Cecily Jessica Lambert of Georgetown and Bonita Webb of Summerville; and a grandson, Hunter Woodruff of Summerville.
Memorial services will be ten o'clock Saturday morning, August 29, 2009, at First Baptist Church. Officiating will be The Rev. Dr. Ted A. Sherrill.

The family will receive friends at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home Friday evening, August 28, 2009, from five until seven.
