Georgetown: Donna Freeman Thompson, 53, died Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at her residence. Mrs. Thompson was born in Georgetown on April 18, 1956, a daughter of the late Robert Freeman, Jr. and Juanita Alford Freeman. She lived most of her life in Georgetown and attended First Baptist Church. Mrs. Freeman was a former office manager at Plantation Shutter Company. Mrs. Thompson was predeceased by: a daughter, Katina Lambert; and a son, William P. "Billy" Lambert. Surviving are: her husband, Edward D. Thompson of Georgetown; a step-son, Edward D. Thompson, II of Georgetown; a step-daughter, Bonnie T. Woodruff (Mark) of Summerville; two sisters, Brenda F. Savage (Bill) of Stockbridge, Ga. and Patricia A. Butts of Hanover, Va.; two granddaughters, Cecily Jessica Lambert of Georgetown and Bonita Webb of Summerville; and a grandson, Hunter Woodruff of Summerville.
