Brunswick GA: Donna Kimbrough Walker, 72, formerly of Georgetown SC passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017, after a fall at her home. Graveside Services will be Thursday, December 28th at 11:00 at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens on Pennyroyal Rd. in Georgetown , SC. Donna was born September 28, 1945 in Charleston, SC. She graduated from Winyah High School in Georgetown, where she played basketball and was a cheerleader. Following high school, she attended and graduated from Winthrop College in Rock Hill, SC. After graduation from college, she worked for International Paper Co. in Georgetown. She later accepted a job with U. S. Steel and moved to Atlanta, where she met her husband, Charles Walker. They were married April 24, 1976. They lived in Atlanta until 2010, when they retired and moved to Brunswick /St. Simons Island. Donna was predeceased by: her parents, Edward S. and Elizabeth R. Kimbrough. She is survived by: her husband, Charles Walker; her brothers, Ed (Debbie) Kimbrough and Billy (Melissa) Kimbrough; sister, Patsy (Sig) Tanner; her sister-in-law, Fran (Jack) Zolomy; brother-in-law, Pat (Tricia) Walker; 9 nieces; 2 great-nieces; and 8 great-nephews.
