Georgetown: Doris Louise Lawrimore Kowalke, 71, died Friday, September 28, 2007, at her residence. Mrs. Kowalke was born in Georgetown on October 11, 1935, a daughter of the late D. Lester Lowrimore and Bessie Moore Lowrimore Rogers. She lived most of her life in central Florida and returned to live in Georgetown in 2006. Surviving are: three daughters, Ruth (Gene) Weaver and Teresa Johnson, both of Georgetown, and April Di Stano of Boonton, N. J.; a son Carl Johnson of Titusville, Fla.; a brother, David L. Lawrimore, Jr. of Georgetown; five granddaughters, Teresa Di Stano, Danielle Di Stano, Brittany Anderson, Deanna Reid, and Dee Dee Reid; four grandsons, Michael O'Steen, Daniel Reid, James Di Stano, and Carl Anderson; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be eleven o'clock Tuesday morning, October 2, 2007, at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Billy Anderson.
