Sumter: Dorothy Cusack Frey, 89, widow of the late William H. Frey, Sr, passed away March 9, 2020, at Embrace Hospice in Myrtle Beach. Mrs. Frey was born August 28, 1930, a daughter of the late Jacob Cusack and Mae Elizabeth Richardson Cusack. She was a devout member of St. Jude Catholic Church. Mrs. Frey enjoyed swimming, reading and camping. She worked as a physical therapist at Tuomey Hospital in Sumter for twenty eight years. Her family and granddaughters were the center of her life. She was a loving wife who traveled the world with her husband an Air Force sergeant. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and loving friend to all. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Frey was predeceased by her sisters, Eva Mae Wewers, Lottie Jane Hill and her brothers, Leonard Cusack, Charlie E. Cusack, Herbert Cusack and Francis Cusack. Surviving are: her two sons, William H. Frey, Jr. and his wife Francine of Pawleys Island and Dale E. Frey of Sumter; two granddaughter, Stephanie F. Frey of Fairfax, VA and Amanda E. F. Young and husband Andrew Young of Tobaccoville, NC. A Funeral Mass will be eleven o'clock Friday, March 13, 2020, at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church.
