Georgetown:
Dorothy Louise Prosser Goude, 74, died Monday, May 8, 2006, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Goude was born in Hannah in Florence Co. on June 4, 1931, a daughter of the late Allard McCoy Prosser and Amanda Magnolia Powell Prosser. She grew up in Hannah and attended schools there before moving to Georgetown, where she attended Winyah High School. Mrs. Goude was employed as a seamstress with Skyline Manufacturing Company for a number of years until the plant closed. She was a member of Georgetown Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mrs. Goude served her church as a member of The Golden Youth Sunday School Class and an active member of the Women's Ministries.
Mrs. Goude was predeceased by: a brother, the Rev. Wilbur R. Prosser.
Surviving are: her husband, Stephen P. Goude of Georgetown; two sons, Danny Goude and his wife Jane and Ricky Goude and his wife Cathy, all of Georgetown; four daughters, Kathy Griffith and her husband Rudy of Pawley's Island, Glenna Thompson and her husband Earl, Loretta Thompson and her husband Jimmy, and Lisa Chastie and her husband Allan, all of Georgetown; two brothers, James Prosser of Georgetown, and Gene Prosser of Conway; two sisters, Janice Hodge of Awendaw and Leona Holmes of Georgetown; eleven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be two o'clock Thursday afternoon, May 11, 2006, at Georgetown Pentecostal Holiness Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Clide E. Glover and the Rev. Edward Watson. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home Wednesday evening, May 10, 2006, from six until eight.
