Andrews: Earl Dennis Bauer, 62, died Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at Hospice of Charleston Hospice Center in Mt. Pleasant. Mr. Bauer was born on September 30, 1948 in Hemingway, a son of the late Russell A. Bauer and Louise Frey Bauer. He grew up in Andrews and graduated from Andrews High School. Mr. Bauer served in the U. S. Army in the Vietnam War. He was a union welder and pipe fitter. Surviving are: a brother, Russell A. Bauer, Jr. of Andrews; and a number of cousins.
