Andrews:
Earl Bethel Cox, 49, died Saturday, December 21, 2013, as a result of an automobile accident in Jasper, Ind.
Mr. Cox was born in Georgetown on February 7, 1964, a son of the late Willie Benjamin Cox and Lizzie Mae Alford Cox. He grew up in the Warsaw community of Williamsburg Co., graduated from Williamsburg High School, and received an associate's degree from Williamsburg Technical College. Mr. Cox worked as a turbine generator repair technician for MDA Construction Company out of Wilmington, NC. He attended both Happy Home Free Will Baptist Church and Antioch Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mr. Cox had a great love for fishing.
Surviving are: three sons, Patrick Earl Cox (Whitney) of Andrews, Robert Cliffton Cox of Fla., and Jason Earl Nesbitt of Andrews; three grandchildren, Taylor Elizabeth Cox, Lilyana Reneé Cox, and Caiden Eli Cox; five brothers, Benjie Cox (Gere) and Elbert Cox (Diane), both of Pawleys Island, Ronnie Cox (Nina) and E.W. Cox (Tiarra), both of Andrews, and Danny Cox (Donna) of Georgetown; and two sisters, Connie Jo Lambert (Larry) of Andrews and Shirley Strickland (Genair) of Georgetown.
Funeral services will be held at eleven o'clock on Friday morning, December 27, 2013, at Happy Home Free Will Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Ronnie Cox, the Rev. Daniel Jackson, and the Rev. Chris Browder. Burial will follow in Piney Forest Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, December 26, 2013, at the Andrews Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home from six until eight o'clock.
