Andrews: Edith Margaret Thompson Michaw, 86, died Sunday, July 10, 2005, at her residence. Mrs. Michaw was born in Williamsburg Co. near Andrews on December 10, 1918, a daughter of the late William Porter Thompson and Minnie Bell Morris Thompson. She and her late husband, Whaley B. Michaw, were the former co-owners of a general store in Lancaster. Mrs. Michaw was a member of First Baptist Church of Andrews and was instrumental in starting Hyde Park Baptist Church in Lancaster. Funeral services will be ten-thirty Tuesday morning, July 12, 2005, at First Baptist Church of Andrews. Officiating will be the Rev. Donald P. Sapp. Burial will follow at four-thirty Tuesday afternoon at Lancaster Memorial Park in Lancaster. Surviving are: a number of nephews, nieces, and cousins.
