Andrews: Edward "Eddie" Wilson Gilleland, 57, died Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at his residence. Mr. Gilleland was born in Georgetown on September 11, 1957, a son of Frances Wilson Morgan Gilleland and the late Cecil Ellis Gilleland. He grew up in Andrews, graduated from Andrews Academy in 1975 and attended The Citadel and the College of Charleston. Mr. Gilleland loved to play golf and surf. Surviving, in addition to his Mother of Andrews, are; his wife, Theresa Ann Gilleland of Murrells Inlet; a daughter, Ashleigh Ann Gilleland of Murrells Inlet; a sister, Gail Thomas (Jimmy) of Walterboro; and two brothers, David Gilleland of Tampa, Fla. and Calvin Gilleland of Green Sea. Graveside funeral services will be at one o'clock Friday afternoon, January 9, 2015, in Andrews Memorial Cemetery. Officiating will be Chaplain Billy Miles. Burial will follow in the Cemetery.
