Pawleys Island: Edward Gordon Goode, Sr. died Saturday, October 9, 2010, at his residence. Mr. Goode was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on July 8, 1924, a son of the late Charles Gordon Goode and Hazel Crawford Goode. He grew up in Patterson, N.J. and served in the Navy during World War II. Mr. Goode moved to Pawleys Island 24 years ago. He attended Pawleys Island Presbyterian Church. Surviving are: his wife, D. Joyce Goode of Pawleys Island; two sons, Edward G. Goode, Jr. of Charlotte, N.C. and Keith Goode of Myrtle Beach; and a sister, Eleanor Kesse of Springfield, Mo. Graveside services will be held at a later date in Gettysburg, Pa.
