Eleanor Merklen Cambrey, 93, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025, in the Lexington Community Hospice House - Agape Care, in Lexington, SC. She was born in Darien, CT, a daughter of William Charles Merklen and Ruth Alena (Fitch) Merklen.
A private inurnment service is being held by the family where Eleanor will be placed in the Prince George Winyay Parish Church Cemetery Columbarium beside her late husband, Richard.
The Downtown Chapel of Mayer-Ethridge Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the Cambrey family, 843-546-4184.
