Georgetown: Elenor Kirby Stone, 91, died Thursday, March 3, 2005, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Stone was born in Effingham on January 20, 1914, a daughter of the late Alvin and Mable Kirby. She grew up in Effingham and graduated from high school there. Mrs. Stone lived in Georgetown for many years and was a former private duty nurse and nurse's aide at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Wayne United Methodist Church. Surviving are: three daughters, Myrtle Stone of Georgetown, Dorothy Abbott of Florence, and Nellie Lewis and her husband Nelson of Hemingway; a sister, Iris Kirby of Florence; a granddaughter, Dean Miller and her husband Conway of Florence; a grandson, Anthony Hill and his wife Beverly of Lexington; and five great-grandsons. Funeral services will be one o'clock Saturday afternoon, March 5, 2005, at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. John M.
