Murrells Inlet: Elinor Rona Kronick Underwood, 71, died Monday, February 22, 2010 at Waccamaw Community Hospital. Mrs. Underwood was born in West Hartford, Conn. on July 23, 1938, a daughter of the late Charles Kronick and Ruth P. Siegel Kronick. She was a retired employee of J. C. Penny. Mrs. Underwood was a member of Temple Beth Elohim in Georgetown. Surviving are: her husband, Wayne H. Underwood of Murrells Inlet; a daughter, Sheri Joy Gibson of Socastee; a grandson, Joshua Charles King of Berlin, N. H.; and a sister, Marjorie G. Stieglitz of Dunwoody, Ga. Graveside services will be at three o'clock Wednesday afternoon, February 24, 2010, at Temple Beth Elohim Cemetery in Georgetown. Officiating will be Bob Schimek.
