Georgetown:
Elizabeth "Beth" Barnwell Miller, 79, died Monday, June 11, 2018, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Miss Miller was born in Columbia on September 21, 1938, a daughter of the late Dr. Samuel Eugene Miller and Elizabeth Marshall Barnwell Miller. She lived most of her life in Georgetown, graduated from Winyah High School, and attended Wingate University. Miss Miller was a former employee of the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. She was a communicant of Prince George, Winyah, Episcopal Church.
In addition to her parents, Miss Miller was predeceased by a sister, Sarah Miller.
Surviving are: her brother, Samuel E. "Gene" Miller, Jr. (Doug) of Georgetown; two nephews, Samuel "Sam" E. Miller, III (Pam) and Douglas C. Miller (Aleene), both of Georgetown: four great-nephews, and a great niece.
Memorial services will be Thursday morning, June 14, 2018, at ten thirty o'clock at the graveside in Prince George, Winyah, Episcopal Churchyard. Officiating will be The Very Rev. David W. Thurlow and The Rev. E. Ragland Coxe. Interment will follow.
