Elizabeth Watford Cox, 80, died Sunday, July 11, 2004, at home.
Mrs. Cox was born on September 24, 1923 in Lamar, a daughter of the late Myron Lester Watford and Lottie Leora Parnell Watford. She graduated from Andrews High School and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Mrs. Cox was a Church School Teacher for many years and was a member of the Rachel-Rebecca Circle of the United Methodist Women and the Daisy Watson Church School Class.
Surviving are: her husband, Thomas Theron Cox, Sr. of Andrews; a son, Thomas Theron Cox, Jr. and his wife Wanda of Andrews; two daughters, Penny McCants and her husband Charlie of Lexington and Ellen Dail and her husband Donny of Andrews; a brother, Donald Watford of Gilbert; a sister, Mary McKee of Belton; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday afternoon, July 13, 2004, at two o'clock at Trinity United Methodist Church. Officiating will be The Rev. Dr. Steven M. Todd and The Rev. Paul Miles. Burial will follow at Harmony Cemetery.
