Georgetown:
Elizabeth Haselden Freeman, 88, died Thursday, February 7, 2008, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Freeman was born in Georgetown on November 6, 1919, a daughter of the late Gabriel "George" Haselden and Elizabeth Wells Haselden. She lived all her life in Georgetown. Mrs. Freeman was a graduate of Winyah High School and attended business school in Georgetown. She worked for many years in the family business, Freeman Electrical Contractors, with her late husband, Heyward Albert Freeman. Mrs. Freeman was an active long time member of Georgetown Presbyterian Church and the Leila Ford Sunday School Class of the church.
Mrs. Freeman was predeceased by: a grandchild, Micah McGill Haselden.
Surviving are: two daughters, Dr. Janice L. Freeman of Philadelphia, Pa. and Joanne Freeman Haselden of Georgetown; and two grandchildren, Andrew B. Clelland of Charlotte, N. C. and Gabrielle G. Haselden of Roanoke, Va.
Services will be eleven o'clock Monday morning, February 11, 2008, at Georgetown Presbyterian Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Stephen H. Wilkins and Bruce M. Carl. Interment will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the Georgetown Presbyterian Church Parlor prior to the service Monday from ten until eleven.
