Obituary

Elizabeth Rebecca Lambert, 79, of the Sampit Community, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024, in the Embrace Hospice House in Myrtle Beach. She was born in Florence County, a daughter of the late Nathan and Eula Lambert. She was the widow of Basil Lambert.

She was the secretary and co-owner of Lambert's Wood Products, loved fishing, and eating out with family and friends. She was a God fearing, devout Christian, loved her role as a deacon's wife, and was a life-long member of Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Regina Yonke and Robin Lambert; one son, Regan Lambert; three grandchildren, Lori Simmons, Katelyn Anderson, Danielle Hanna Denk; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Raymond "Ray" Lambert and one granddaughter, Tabitha Hanna.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Sampit Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 3:00 PM until service time.

The Georgetown Chapel of Mayer-Ethridge Funeral Home and Crematory is handling the arrangements.
