Georgetown: Elma H. Harrelson, 94, died Thursday, December 18, 2003, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Harrelson was born in Georgetown on August 30, 1909, a daughter of the late Hughgee Harrelson and Jesse M. Porter Harrelson. She lived in the Georgetown area all of her life. Mrs. Harrelson was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Dorcas Sunday School Class. Surviving are: a son, Olin Harrelson of Georgetown; two daughters, Barbara Glenn and Joyce Brown, both of Georgetown; two grandchildren, Bob Glenn II and Melanie Foxwell, both of Georgetown; and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Harrelson was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Harrelson and a son, Ernest Harrelson, Jr. Funeral services will be Saturday morning, December 20, 2003, at eleven o'clock at the graveside at Mt. Olive Cemetery. Officiating will be The Rev. Dr. Ted A. Sherrell and The Rev. Hiram McElrath. The family will receive friends Friday evening, December 19, 2003, from five until seven o'clock at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home.
