Emily Inman
Emily Ward Inman, 76, wife of Julius B. Inman, went on to be with the Lord on Friday, April 1, 2022, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family and friends.
Emily was married to Julius Inman for 54 years. She was the daughter of Cornelius and Annie Sue Howard Ward.
Emily started working in High School at Stalvey's Electronics and later at Rodwell Pontiac. It was when she was working at Fogel's Department Store that she became known as Sweet Emily. She later worked at Litchfield CC and then True Blue Golf as head bookkeeper for nineteen years until she retired. Emily attended First Baptist Church
Emily enjoyed watching her Gamecocks play football and men's basketball but she really enjoyed watching girls basketball. She also enjoyed collecting all kinds of rabbits and Peanuts characters, especially Snoopy.
She was predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Kent Ward (Elaine) and Donald Ward (Barbara) and her sweet Princess Maggie.
She is Survived by her husband Julius Inman of Georgetown, her special daughter Kang Yi, two nieces, Donna Mauney (Tim) and Kellie Holcomb (Scott), three nephews, Mike Ward (Jana), Mitchell Jones (Molly) and Kevin Ward (Anglia) and several cousins.
She is also survived by her other exchange Students. Maja from Slovakia. Lena, Mona, Idun, Ronja, Marlene and Pia from Norway. Anke from Germany. Pook, Kik, Aimee, Mint, Gift and Mei from Thailand. Van from Viet Nam. Yoshiko from Japan. Jocelyn from Hong Kong.
Memorial services will be two o'clock Saturday afternoon, April 9, 2022, at First Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Ted A. Sherrill. A visitation will be prior to the service in the church parlor from one until two.
