Enver Leona Carraway Johnson, 90, died Friday, January 20, 2006, at Prince George Healthcare Center.
Mrs. Johnson was born in the Bethel Community of Georgetown Co. on March 6, 1915, a daughter of the late William C. Carraway and Sarah Agnes Nesmith Carraway. She was a member of Johnson Chapel Baptist Church and was a former Sunday School Teacher and Sunday School Clerk of the church.
Mrs. Johnson was predeceased by: her husband, James Eugene Johnson; three sons, Everette Johnson, J. Roger Johnson, and James B. Johnson; a daughter, Kitty Fallis; four brothers, Willie Carraway, Harsford Carraway, Vonnie D. Carraway, and Leland Carraway; and a sister, Oletta Baxley.
Surviving are: four sons, William Johnson and his wife Kate, D. Wayne Johnson, and Sydney Johnson and his wife Susan, all of Georgetown, and Stephen Johnson and his wife Lisa of Moncks Corner; three daughters, Hazel Seitter and her husband Gene and Eugenia Waldron and her husband Sonny, all of Georgetown, and Frances McSwain of Ridgeway; a brother, Arnold Carraway and his wife Loraine of Casa Grande, Ariz.; a sister, Pheana Miller of Dalzell; twenty-two grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be eleven o'clock Monday morning, January 23, 2006, in Johnson Chapel Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Chris Marsh. Burial will follow in Bethel United Methodist Cemetery.
