Georgetown:
Ernest Leroy Lambert, Sr., 63, died Thursday, August 20, 2009, at Tidelands Community Hospice House.
Mr. Lambert was born in Georgetown on February 14, 1946, a son of the late Sammie Lambert and Neola Hayes Lambert. He was a retired inspector with Georgetown County Environmental Services.
Mr. Lambert was predeceased by: a brother, Louis Legare Lambert and a grandson, Timothy Legare Lambert.
Surviving are: his wife, Sarah Rebecca Ritter Lambert of Georgetown; three sons, Jason Lee Wren (Virginia) of Beaufort, Wesley Eugene Lambert of Georgetown, and SSG Ernest Leroy Lambert, Jr. (Amy) of Ft. Stewart, Ga.; a brother, Mark A. Lambert of Georgetown; a sister, Vicky E. Livingston of Georgetown; two sister-in-laws, M. Jean Lambert and Alice Matthews (Paul), both of Georgetown; a brother-in-law, Richard Ritter of Georgetown; three grandchildren, Marina Startsvia, Walker Braydon, and Brenda Rebecca; seven nephews; and five nieces.
Memorial services will be three o'clock Saturday afternoon, August 29, 2009, at First Baptist Church. Officiating will be The Rev. Dr. Ted A. Sherrill. Private burial services will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Church Parlor immediately following the memorial service.
