Columbia:
Etta McCormac Siau, 69, died Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia.
Ms. Siau was born in Williamsburg Co. on November 16, 1947, a daughter of the late John K. McCormac and Marian Rowell McCormac. She grew up in Georgetown and graduated from Winyah High School, Class of 1966 and the University of South Carolina, Class of 1995. Ms. Siau worked for a time with the John McCormac State Farm Insurance office and Georgetown Hospice. She was a retired employee of Companion Property and Casualty Insurance Co. in Columbia.
Ms. Siau was a member of the Church of The Apostles in Columbia and a former member of Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church in Georgetown and All Saints Church at Pawleys Island.
She was a volunteer for Palmetto Health Home Care Hospice in Columbia. She loved the Beach (Pawleys Island), Beach Music, was a great Shagger, and a loving mother and grandmother.
Surviving are: a daughter, Shannon K. Siau of Pawleys Island; a son, Patrick McClary "Clay" Siau (Lindsey) of Columbia; three grandchildren; Olivia Marie Siau, Patrick McClary Siau, III, and Hattie Rosetta Siau; a sister, Kay M. Bonnoitt (Tez) of Georgetown; and two nephews, Beau Bonnoitt and John Bonnoitt.
Memorial services will be eleven o'clock Saturday morning, January 28, 2017, at All Saints Church at Pawleys Island. Officiating will be the Very Rev. Chip Edgar and Rev. Clay Millener. A reception will be follow in the ACTS Building of the Church.
