Georgetown:
Hope Burroughs, 64, died Wednesday, March 1, 2006, in Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Miss Burroughs was born in Conway on June 3, 1941, the daughter of the late Edgar Hope Burroughs and Eunice Owens Burroughs. She worked for a time with the Head Start program and was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church. Miss Burroughs lived in the Choppee community of Georgetown Co. for many years and was currently a resident of Manor House of Georgetown.
Surviving are: a number of cousins, including Ted O. Barrineau of Georgetown.
Funeral services will be two o'clock Thursday afternoon, March 2, 2006, at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Tommy Earl Barnhill. Burial will follow at four o'clock in Lakeside Cemetery in Conway.
