Georgetown: Eunice Mae Hodges Elliott, 79, died Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at her residence. Mrs. Elliott was born April 10, 1930 in Mullins, a daughter of the late Jesse Morris Hodges and Maola Smith Hodges. She was the former owner of Granny's Nursery and a former caregiver at Aunt Terri's Nursery. Mrs. Elliott was a member of the Church of Christ, where she was a former Sunday School Teacher and Vacation Bible School Teacher. Mrs. Elliott was predeceased by: her husband, Eddie Dupree Elliott; and a daughter, Linda Cheryl Elliott. Surviving are: a son, Gregg Elliott of Georgetown; two daughters, Delores E. (Sidney) Howard and Terri D. Felder, both of Andrews; a brother, James (Rachel) Hodges of Hartsville; two sisters, Ruth Proctor of Dillon and Sue Filyaw of Pembroke, Ga.; five grandchildren, Melinda H. (Rob) Stewart of Cottontown, Tenn., Angela Howard of Lake City, and Jacob Felder, Gracie Felder, and Sheila Felder, all of Andrews; and two great-grandchildren, Cheryl Stewart and Russell Stewart, both of Cottontown, Tenn. Funeral services will be eleven o'clock Friday morning, May 1, 2009, at the Church of Christ. Officiating will be Mr. Fred Ady.
