Georgetown:
Eunice Brazell Price, 91, , widow of Robert "Cagey" Dalton Price, died Sunday, July 5, 2015, at Tidelands Community Hospice House.
Mrs. Price was born in Kingsland, Ga. on March 31, 1924, a daughter of the late John Brazell and Bessie Gay Brazell. She lived in Georgetown for many years, where she and her late husband owned Georgetown Ice Company. Mrs. Price was a member of Messiah Baptist Church.
Mrs. Price was best known for the world famous chili that she made for the Ice Plant hot dogs for many years. She had a great love for gardening, fishing, and telling fish stories. Mrs. Price provided many fishermen, who came to the Ice Plant, advice on where to find the best fishing spots and how to catch fish.
Surviving are: a son, Robert K. Price (Sandy) of Georgetown; two daughters, Ginger Price Haley of Georgetown; and Kay Price Moore (Colin) of Huger; three step-daughters, Pat Price Walker and Carolyn Price Hewitt (Frankie), both of Georgetown, and Nancy Myers of Murrells Inlet; a brother Charles Brazell of Kingsland, Ga; and a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be four o'clock Wednesday afternoon, July 8, 2015, in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Billy Miles.
The family will receive friends at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home Tuesday evening, July 7, 2015, from six until eight.
