Faye Poole Lambert, 75, died Sunday, November 2, 2008, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Lambert was born in Georgetown on July 1, 1933, a daughter of the late John Carey Poole and Fannie Mobley Poole. She was a graduate of Winyah High School and lived all of her life in Georgetown. Mrs. Lambert was a member of Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church and the Tarboux-Turner-Watson Circle of the United Methodist Women.
Mrs. Lambert was predeceased by: a son, Perry Eugene Lambert; a daughter-in-law, Alina Weatherford Lambert; five brothers, William L. Poole, Marion E. Poole, Thomas A. Poole, Ray L. Poole, and Jay C. Poole; and three sisters, Laura L. Poole, D. Dean Taul, and Elsie P. Aelick.
Surviving are: her husband, Arthur Lambert of Georgetown; six sons, B. Craig (Gloria) Lambert, Keith L. Poole, Richard A. Lambert and Edwin C. (Karen) Lambert, all of Georgetown, P. Bruce (Cindy) Lambert of Swansea, and Derrell A. (Marie) Lambert of Columbia; a brother, Edward C. Poole of Lawrenceville, Ga.; two sisters, Margie P. Miller and Rebecca P. Walker, both of Georgetown; fifteen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be eleven o'clock Wednesday morning, November 5, 2008, at Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. G. Edward Usher. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery Annex.
