Obituary

Pawley's Island: Florence Mottram Cusick, 79, died Wednesday, October 20, 2004, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Cusick was born in Liverpool, England on March 8, 1925, a daughter of the late John Edmund Mottram and Elizabeth Owens Mottram. She was a former co-owner and operator of Litchfield IGA and Litchfield Liquors and retired in 1986. Mrs. Cusick was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church. She was also a member of Winyah Chapter #148, Order of the Eastern Star in Georgetown. Flo was a wonderful mom, sister, grandma, and friend. Surviving are: a daughter, Sheila Murrell and son-in-law Ronnie of Pawley's Island; two sons, Phillip Cusick and daughter-in-law Peggy and John Cusick and daughter-in-law Linda, all of Pawley's Island; six grandchildren, Chris Murrell and his wife Betsy of Georgetown, Daphne Ellison and her husband Jerry of Beaufort, and Chad, Caroline, Kelly, and Charlie Cusick, all of Pawley's Island; three great-grandchildren, Will and Katie Murrell of Georgetown and Bailey Ellison of Beaufort; three step-grandchildren, Jessi and Lacy Turner of Pawley's Island, and Kit Turner of Priest River, Idaho; a brother, Rob Mottram and his wife Ann of Liverpool, England; and several nieces and nephews in the U.S.A. and England. Mrs. Cusick was predeceased by her husband and partner of fifty-three years Charlie Cusick and a granddaughter, Robin Murrell. Memorial services will be one o'clock Saturday afternoon, October 23, 2004 at Old All Saints Church, Waccamaw. Officiating will be The Rev. Edward T. Kelaher. The family will receive friends Friday evening, October 22, 2004, from six until eight at the residence, 709 Crooked Oak Drive. Sign a guest book at www.mayerfuneralhome.com.
