Georgetown:
Floride Morrison Glover, known to her many friends and extended family as Flo, passed away on April 2, 2008. She was born in McClellanville, South Carolina on December 9, 1917, where she spent her childhood. Most of her adult life she lived in Georgetown, South Carolina. She was the widow of William Ferguson Hutson Glover, Jr. of Georgetown and the youngest child of Henry Toomer Morrison and Sarah McGillivray Morrison of McClellanville.
Mrs. Glover had four children, a daughter Florence Glover Schwartz, who predeceased her, and three sons, W.F.H. Glover, III of Knoxville, Tennessee, Nicholas W. Glover of Charleston, and Henry M. Glover of Onalaska, Wisconsin. She leaves nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Her extended family included her six siblings, who predeceased her, and her sixteen nieces and nephews.
She devoted her life to her family and her church. She was an active member of Prince George Winyah Episcopal Church for over fifty years and served with the Episcopal Church Women's Group.
Services will be held at Prince George Winyah Episcopal Church, Georgetown, South Carolina on Wednesday, April 9th at 2:00 p.m. She will be interred next to her husband and daughter in the Prince George Churchyard.
