Orange Park, Fla.: Frances "Frankie" Elizabeth McDaniel Maxwell, born March 22, 1917, went Home to her Maker on April 25, 2006. Frankie was the daughter of Claude T. and Charity McDaniel of Anderson, S.C. She graduated from Anderson College. Frankie was the beloved mother of four children. She was involved in church activities, girl scouts, and volunteer work. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren, and her numerous dogs. Frankie also enjoyed playing bridge, traveling and bird watching. She was a charter member of St. Peter's By-The-Sea Lutheran Church of Pawley's Island, S.C. Frankie was preceded in death by her: husband, Robert G. Maxwell; son, Robert Terrell Maxwell; sister, Dorothy Ellerbe; and grandson Will Weaver. Surviving Frankie are her sister Martha Perry of Raleigh, N.C.; three daughters, Dorothy Ann Jester of Green Cove Springs, Fla., Barbara Maxwell Mullinax of Fredericksburg, Va., and Gayle Maxwell Weaver of Georgetown, S.C.; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather at graveside at Pawley's Island Presbyterian Church at Pawley's Island, S.C., Saturday, May 6 at 5:00 P.M. to celebrate Frankie's life. Officiating will be her brother-in-law, Rev. Frank C. Perry. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local Humane Society. The Georgetown, S.C.
