Andrews:
Frances Helen Morris, 83, wife of Robert Jackson Morris, died Wednesday, August 3, 2011.
Mrs. Morris was born in Georgetown Co. on September 26, 1928, a daughter of the late Ralph Edward and Minnie Johnson Mobley. She graduated from Winyah High School and was a devoted member of Elim United Methodist Church. Her gentle nature and caring personality will be missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Morris was predeceased by: a brother, Lawrence Mobley; and a sister, Barbara Mobley.
In addition to her husband of Andrews, Mrs. Morris is survived by: five children, Jackie Bailey (Bill), Bruce Morris (Susan), Clifford "Kip" Morris (Becky), Angela Hamer and Pamela Janik; five brothers, Wyman Mobley, Guy Mobley, John Nelson Mobley, Jack Mobley, and Lamar Mobley; six sisters, Nell Haden, Joanne Jacobs, Connie Shelley, Mary Casselman, Virginia Holladay, and Ryndie Williams; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a favorite 97 year old Uncle, Johnnie B. Johnson.
Funeral services will be at five o'clock on Friday afternoon, August 5, 2011, at Elim United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Elim United Methodist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, August 4, 2011, at the Andrews Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home from six until eight o'clock.
