Georgetown: Frances Ellen Anderson Palisi, 89, died Monday, February 23, 2009, at Tidelands Community Hospice House. Mrs. Palisi was born in Georgetown on July 7, 1919, a daughter of the late John Walter Anderson and Maude Roberts Anderson. She grew up in Georgetown and attended Winyah High School. Mrs. Anderson lived in Long Island, N. Y and Milledgeville, Ga. prior to returning to Georgetown to live. Mrs. Palisi was predeceased by: her husband, Bartholomew Palisi; and two brothers, Manning Anderson and Harold Anderson. Surviving are: a brother, Clarence L. Anderson of Georgetown; a sister, Janie A. Bullard of Georgetown; and a number of nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be two o'clock Wednesday afternoon, February 25, 2009, at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. R. Wayne Ellis.
