Andrews:
Frank Louis Atkinson, 76, widower of Donna Hill Atkinson, died Sunday, November 22, 2015, at his residence.
Mr. Atkinson was born in Coos Bay, Oregon on January 14, 1939, a son of the late Earl Cleo Atkinson and Clara Catherine Hutchinson Atkinson. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany. Mr. Atkinson was a contract truck driver and lived in a number of places prior to moving to Andrews in 1972. He was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Atkinson was predeceased by: four grandsons.
Surviving are: two sons, Harold D. "Little Frank" Atkinson and Earl C. Atkinson (Regina), both of Andrews; four daughters, Mildred Atkinson of Andrews, Ka'Renia Atkinson Hanna (Ronnie) of Johnsonville, Pamela Robert Atkinson of Orangeburg, and Rene Atkinson Bone of Andrews; twelve grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be three o'clock Wednesday afternoon, November 25, 2015, at the graveside in Piney Forest Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Lee Walters and Rev. Regina Atkinson. Burial will follow in the cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the Andrews Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home from one until two-thirty.
