Pawleys Island:
Franklin "Frog" Lennon Bullock, Jr., 56, died June 28, 2010, at his residence.
Mr. Bullock was born in Georgetown on June 7, 1954, a son of the late Franklin Lennon Bullock, Sr. and Maoma Sasser Bullock.
Frog was a life-long resident of Georgetown and Pawleys Island. He may best be remembered for his singing career up and down The Grand Strand and Low Country, as well as being a Dee Jay with WYAK. He was also a long distance truck driver. He performed locally at the Pawleys Island Crawfish Festival for three years and also performed at Charleston's Spoleto Festival as a singer and musician in the early 80's. He was an active member of Nashville Song Writers Association, and a member of Pawleys Island Lodge #409, Ancient FreeMasons and Omar Shrine Temple in Charleston, and a very proud Father of his two sons.
Surviving are: two sons, Lt. J. G. Franklin Joseph Bullock, US Coast Guard, New Orleans, La. and Iraq and Joshua Lennon Bullock of Baltimore, Md.; his children's mother, Kathy T. Bullock of Pawleys Island; a very dear and special friend, Fran Clarkson; two sisters, Mary Bullock Miller of Hemingway and Martha Bullock Yarborough of Philadelphia, Pa.
Memorial services will be at eleven o'clock, Saturday morning, July 3, 2010, at his residence, 43 Morven Lane, Hagley Estates at Pawleys Island.
