Andrews: Franklin David Goude, 70, died Tuesday, August 19, 2014, while fishing in Wadmacon Creek in Georgetown County. Mr. Goude was born in Andrews on July 26, 1944, a son of the late Andrew Columbus Goude and Janie Cox Goude. He grew up in Andrews and graduated from Andrews High School. Mr. Goude retired from International Paper Company after 42 years of employment. He was a member of Holy Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church and attended Antioch Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mr. Goude loved going to church and loved the Lord. Mr. Goude was an active participant in all sports-related events in the Andrews community and supported the Andrews High School Booster Club. He only missed one state championship football game in the past 20 years. Mr. Goude also assisted in organizing Dixie Youth Baseball in Andrews. He loved golf, fishing, cooking, helping others, and the Carolina Gamecocks. The Andrews community has lost a truly honest, caring, loving, compassionate, and God loving man. He will be greatly missed by many. Surviving are: his wife, Earline Taylor Goude of Andrews; a son, Bruce Goude (Christy) of Andrews; a daughter, Marie Bone (Gary) of Andrews; three grandchildren, Ashley and Bryce Goude, and Brandon Bone, all of Andrews; and a sister, Leona Patenaude of Boston, Mass. He also leaves behind a number of nieces and nephews that meant the world to him, as well as a group of "special girls" that held a place in his heart. Funeral services will be held at four o'clock on Friday afternoon, August 22, 2014, at Holy Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Jeff Goude and Mr. Ricky Glisson.
