Fritz James Todd, 67, of 202 Warbler Street died Tuesday, December 9, 2008, at Waccamaw Community Hospital. The Funeral will be Friday, December 12, 2008, at 2 pm at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Aldon Johnson and Allen Thomas, Minister. Burial will be in Hucksfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Georgetown Chapel of at Mayer Funeral Home Thursday, December 11, 2008, from 5 to 7 pm. Mr. Todd was born May 8, 1941 in Georgetown, the son of Bennie Edward Todd, Sr. and Beatrice Wilder Todd. He was a Vietnam veteran and retired after 40 years as an OTO (Over the Road Operator) truck driver. He is survived by: his wife, Nancy Weathers Todd of the home, two sons, Christopher James (Cissy) Todd of Murrells Inlet and Ricky Anthony (Jamie) Todd, Sr. of Andrews; one daughter, Tamatha Renette (John) Todd of Georgetown; three stepchildren, Chad (Candy) Weathers of Spartanburg, Dana Barrineau of Andrews, and Harley (Sherry) Zurcher of Georgetown; twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild; seven brothers, Jackie Todd, Earl (Pam) Todd, Bennie Donald Todd, Jimmy (Sheila) Todd, Jeffery (Sharon)Todd, and Kevin (Theresa) Todd, all of Georgetown, and David Todd of Kingstree; eight sisters, Barbara (Donnie) Moore, Faye (Phillip) Cumbie, Angela (Steve) Thomas, and Collette Todd, all of Georgetown, Joyce Tisdale, Linda (Burdick) Tisdale, and Dale Phillips all of Kingstree, and Donna (John Woody) Lockliear of Salters; and a number of nieces and nephews.
