Pawleys Island: Gail Elizabeth (Stevenson) Bogner of Pawleys Plantation went on to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 26, 2015. Gail was born in Utica, NY to the late Edwin and Ruth Stevenson and she attended the New Hartford, NY school systems, graduating in 1957. She went on to attend Vermont Junior College and was later employed by the General Electric Company in New Hartford. Gail was a leader of the youth activities in the Presbyterian Church in Utica, and she often assisted in the church school programs. In 1959, Gail and Howard John Bogner were married at the Presbyterian Church in Utica, and they later welcomed to their family, Kim Elizabeth and Kevin Howard Bogner. Gail was a devoted wife and mother. With the many transfers with her husband's career, Gail took part in activities that supported her children's schools and social programs in each location where they lived. She loved to tackle the morning crossword puzzle; play board games with her family; and she always seemed to beat her husband during their lunchtime Yahtzee game. Gail leaves behind, her husband, Howard and daughter, Kim Monachino (Edward) and son, Kevin (Kathy) and three grandchildren, Jordan, Sydney, and Cole. Her brother, Richard Stevenson predeceased her earlier in the year. Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 am on Friday, May 1, 2015 at the Pawleys Island Presbyterian Church.
