Andrews: Garland Junior Stone, 77, died Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston. Mr. Stone was born in Florence Co. on October 26, 1937, a son of the late Andrew Jackson Stone and Lizzie Mae Poston Stone. He grew up in the Andrews area and served in the US Army. Mr. Stone was the former owner of Stone Septic Tank Service. He enjoyed coon hunting and fishing, and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Surviving are: his wife, Patricia Ann Stone of Andrews; a son, Jason Elliott Stone (Nicole) of Andrews; two daughters, Charlotte Regina Nesbitt (Robert Baluvelt) and Sherry Thompson, both of Andrews; six grandchildren, Megan Thompson, Alyssa and Emily Thompson, Richard Nesbitt, Tabitha Baluvelt, and Marleigh Stone; six great-grandchildren; a brother, James M. "Bud" Stone of Andrews; and a sister, Jackie Forbes of Georgetown. In addition to his parents, Mr. Stone was predeceased by: three sisters, Jennette Stone, Dorothy Gibson, and Helen Elliott. Funeral services will be held at three o'clock on Friday afternoon, December 12, 2014, at Holy Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church. Officiating will be the Rev. David Richardson and Ricky Glisson.
