Charleston: George Robert Blalock, III, 38, died Tuesday, August 31, 2004. Mr. Blalock was born in Atlanta, Ga. on November 17, 1965, a son of Dr. George R. Blalock, Jr. and Essie Jeter Blalock. He grew up in Georgetown and was a graduate of St. Andrews Presbyterian College in Laurinburg, N. C. Mr. Blalock lived in Charleston for the past ten years. He was a member of All Saints Church, Waccamaw. Surviving are: his parents of Georgetown; a sister, Elizabeth B. Gibson and her husband Chad of Georgetown; maternal grandmother, Vera Jeter of Georgetown; and a niece, Brooks Gibson of Georgetown. Mr. Blalock was predeceased by: a brother, David J. Blalock; maternal grandfather, David G. Jeter; and paternal grandparents, Dr. & Mrs. George R. Blalock, Sr. Funeral services will be ten o'clock Friday morning, September 3, 2004, at the graveside in All Saints Church, Waccamaw, Cemetery at Pawley's Island. Officiating will be The Rt. Rev.
