McClellanville :

George Gary Bronson, 79, husband of Evelyn Elizabeth Jones Bronson, died October 25, 2022, at the Medical University Hospital in Charleston.

Mr. Bronson was born in Alexandria, VA, on November 8, 1942, a son of the late George M. Bronson and Virginia Allan Bronson.

Gary grew up in Alexandria, VA, and graduated from NYU and the University of Virginia. He served in the United States Navy. Gary was a Computer Analyst at First Virginia Bank in Falls Church, VA, and also worked for Computer Science Corp and IBM. Gary loved his family, his wife Emmy, daughter, Kathy Simpler, a son, Bill Clay; a brother, Wayne Bronson and a sister-in-law, Brenda Thorn.  After Gary's travels McClellanville village became his home and resting place.

Funeral Services will be two o'clock Saturday, October 29, 2022, at McClellanville United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Roye Lynn Kulik. Burial will follow in the McClellanville Methodist Church Cemetery.
