Andrews:
George Lyman Donnelly, Sr., 65, died September 3, 2005, in Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia.
Mr. Donnelly was born in San Diego, Ca. on January 1, 1940, a son of the late James Franklin Donnelly and Loula Louise McAboy Donnelly. He was a graduate of Williamsburg High School. Mr. Donnelly served in the U. S. Marine Corps for five years with duty in the Mediterranean and in Charleston. He was a landscape architect for forty two years and owned his own business, Donnelly Landscaping. Mr. Donnelly was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Surviving are: his wife, Betty Driggers Donnelly of Andrews; two sons, George L. Donnelly, Jr. and his wife Caroline of Andrews and James A. Donnelly of Palm Springs, Ca.; a daughter, Thereasa A. Drake and her husband John of Andrews; a brother, Michael E. Donnelly of Hinesville, Ga.; two sisters, Barbara Seton of Kingsport, Tenn. and Shirley Baron of Virginia Beach, Va.; a sister in law, Miriam E. Donnelly of Andrews; two daughters in law, Paula Donnelly of Spartanburg and Andrea Donnelly of Summerville; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Donnelly was predeceased by a son, Kenneth McAboy Donnelly.

Memorial services will be Tuesday morning, September 6, 2005, at eleven o'clock in the Andrews Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. John Dodd.
