Andrews: Gladys Evelyn LaRue Parrott Brantley, 63, died Sunday, July 8, 2007, at her residence. Mrs. Brantley was born in Lake City on February 19, 1944, a daughter of the late Benny LaRue Parrott and Virginia Kerr Parrott. She was a member of Trio United Methodist Church. Mrs. Brantley was predeceased by: a son, Robert Preston Brantley, Jr.; and a sister, Connie Parrott Wise. Surviving are: her husband, Robert Preston Brantley of Andrews; a son, Rodney Preston Brantley of Andrews; a brother, James Henry Parrott and his wife Cathy of Florence; eight nephews; eight nieces; nine great-nephews; and two great-nieces. Funeral services will be four o'clock Tuesday afternoon, July 10, 2007, at the Andrews Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Geraldine Bednego and the Rev. Robert Huggins.
