Pawleys Island: Harold Bruce Martin, 75, died Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet. Mr. Martin was born in Bath Co., Ky. on November 26, 1939, a son of the late Everett Auxier Martin and Sallie Lee Jones Martin. He grew up in Kentucky and moved to Pawleys Island-Litchfield Beach a number of years ago. Mr. Martin was a member of St. Paul's Waccamaw United Methodist Church. Surviving are: his wife, Sue Ella Toy Martin of Pawleys Island; a daughter-in-law, Julie J. Long of Georgetown; a brother, Jimmie Martin (Nell) of Sharpsburg, Ky. six grandchildren, Skyla, Madison, Carley, Quin, Jack, and Luke; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Martin was predeceased by: a son, Matthew Robert Martin and a sister, Mary Miller. Memorial services will be elven o'clock Thursday morning, April 9, 2015, at St. Paul's Waccamaw United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Pamela G. Ledbetter.
